Marcel Somerville’s Wedding Suit

This year, we had the pleasure of tailoring a suit for Blazin’ Squad and Love Island star Marcel Somerville’s beautiful Portugal wedding, where he married his partner Rebecca Vieira.

Rebecca dazzled in a white lace gown, and Marcel shook the ground with an exquisite bespoke suit! Our Tailoring Consultant, Joe, used his expert knowledge and our traditional bespoke tailoring process to deliver the perfect wedding suit. Here, we speak with Marcel about his experience with King & Allen..

WHAT WERE YOU LOOKING FOR WHEN YOU CAME TO US FOR A WEDDING SUIT?

So I was looking for the wedding suit of my dreams, I had a vision of James Bond meets Don Vito Corleone. I knew my bride's dress was going to be epic so I needed something grand and suave.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE KING & ALLEN?

I chose King and Allen because I had heard amazing things about them and when I looked at their Instagram I knew they were the perfect tailors to make my suit.

HOW DID YOU DECIDE ON YOUR FINAL LOOK FOR YOUR WEDDING SUIT?

So I had a long discussion with Joe about what I wanted, who gave me some great ideas and information into the different styles, fabrics and finishes so I felt really informed in my final decision and knew he’d be able to pull off my vision.

HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE AT KING & ALLEN AND DESIGNING YOUR SUIT WITH JOE?

My experience was amazing, I’ve got a real desire now to have every suit I wear be uniquely tailored to me, no more off the rack! The level of a King & Allen suit is so high! I’ve already got plans for my next one.

HOW DID THE SUIT FEEL ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?

My suit did the job of having a wow factor, I felt amazing in it! It was the perfect suit!

DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR SOMEONE THINKING ABOUT WEARING A BESPOKE SUIT FOR THEIR WEDDING?

My only advice would be… go and see King and Allen!
