Our typical clients are men and women who are looking for either business suits or wedding suits. We also tailor shirts, overcoats, formalwear and countrywear from some of the finest cloths in the world.
About the Role
At King & Allen, we pride ourselves on delivering impeccable craftsmanship and a perfect fit for every customer. As a Tailor, you will play a crucial role in this process, working closely with our Tailoring Consultants to ensure each garment is expertly altered to the highest standard.
Consultants will assess and determine the necessary adjustments, passing garments to you for precise tailoring and refinement. Based in-store, you’ll have access to a fully equipped workspace with all the professional sewing machines and tools required to perform alterations efficiently and to the highest standard.
Contract Type... Full-time (Part-time work considered)
Schedule... 8-hour shift
About You
Required Experience...
Experienced and skilled in all aspects of tailoring
An understanding of pattern cutting and floating canvas construction
Excellent communication skills
Good written and spoken English
Must be able to work 9am – 6pm, 5 days per week
Desired Experience...
2yrs sewing experience
Ability to conduct fittings with clients
Experience working in a customer focused environment
