Three Things You'll Learn At Your Suit Consultation

From the moment you book an appointment at one of our stores, we want you to enjoy the bespoke experience. At your first consultation, we'll guide you through all of the cloths and style choices that will go into your one-of-a-kind suit. We also like our customers to leave the consultation having learned the following three things...

YOU'LL LEARN ABOUT HOW YOUR SUIT IS CONSTRUCTED

At King & Allen we offer two different ranges: made-to-measure and fully-bespoke. The difference between the two ranges comes down to the construction of the suit. Your consultant will give you an overview of both ranges and outline the difference in how the suits are made. They'll also advise you on which one they think might be best for you. If you decide to opt for our made-to-measure range, your first fitting appointment will allow you to try on the completed suit and, if it fits, you can then take the suit home. Our fully-bespoke range involves a baste fitting, where you will try on the shell of the suit, so that we can sculpt it to your shape. You'll then

YOU'LL LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR BODY SHAPE THAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW

Everyone is different and no two set of measurements or posture notes are quite the same. This is the beauty of the bespoke experience. You'll have a garment that is uniquely fitted to your shape that will feel and look like nothing else. You'll also find out some interesting things about your body, for example, your shoulder angles will affect the fit of the suit. Two people could have the same measurement across the shoulder but their angle is so different that they couldn't wear the same jacket. Sometimes, your posture is even more important than your measurements. Yet another reason to go bespoke!

YOU'LL LEARN THAT THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE

Your tailoring consultant will be with you throughout your bespoke journey. From the first consultation to the final fitting, we aim to have the same consultant with you at all the different stages. They'll be there to advise you on the cloth and style of your suit, as well as helping you get the best possible fit at your fitting appointments. We'll also keep your unique pattern on file so you can return to us for a new suit in the future.
